MY CAUSE MY CLEATS

In 2017 we ran a campaign for the “My Cause My Cleats” movement amongst the NFL. Teams were allowing their athletes to wear custom cleats during the game of week 14 but only if they were able to use their creative designs to help bring light to a cause that means something to them. Many players came out to create their own cleats by getting them custom designed with causes that had a personal meaning to them from Cystic Fibrosis, the Air Force, to American Diabetes Association. We designed a social campaign around this to help tell their stories all the way from the design process, making of the graphics and to the photoshoot of the shoes themselves. We documented the entire process from start to finish and eventually grabbed images of them wearing them on the field.
